Yo Uganda Ltd partners with famer cooperatives to digitalize agriculture in Western Uganda

Yo Uganda Ltd a digital financial solution creator with support from Master Card Community Pass have today held a training for Cooperatives and farm holder Associations from Western region at the Mbarara District Farmers Association Building (MBADIFA). This training workshop is aiming at introducing to Farmer Cooperatives Yo Pay Agric (pay it your way) digital platform that intents to bring farmer Cooperatives into one space to interact directly with buyers from their locality, regions, National and International as well give access to service providers like banks, Insurance, Agriculture in put suppliers like quality seeds and Veterinary services.
Mr Kazibwe Robert, Programme Manager, from Yo Uganda Ltd, says that Yo Pay agric aims at Digitalizing the agriculture value chain to improve Livelihoods of small holder farmers.
The training has been graced by local leaders from both Mbarara local Government, Uganda National Federation of Farmers, MBADIFA among other leaders from Districts of Ibanda, Isingiro, Bushenyi, Ntungamo, Kabale, Kanungu and Rukungiri.
