KCCA partners with ATC Uganda to light up Kampala City with Smart Poles

Smart City is not Just Smart Talk but Smart Actions! Says KCCA’s Executive Director M/S Dorothy Kisaka while talking to press after holding a relationship strengthening meeting with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ATC Uganda on Monday 29th August 2022.

It should be noted that ATC Uganda is already lighting up Capital City using Smart Poles which are multipurpose vehicle that will host infrastructure for faster connectivity and promote ease of doing business in the Capital City.

This has created excitement with in the city dwellers, one stakeholder said that this smart city approach of urban planning is welcome.

We as well noted that the downtown dwellers are already reaping benefits from faster connectivity.

In the other related KCCA news, on Tuesday evening, the ED@KCCA paid a visit to the home of Lord Mayor Eriasi Lukwago at Wakaligga to commiserate with him on the death of his father, Hajji Mirundi of Kalungu Masaka.

Kisaka was accompanied by five members of KCCA senior management team. The deceased who was aged 93yeats, passed away on Tuesday 23rd August and was buried on 24th August 2022. As we also commiserate with our Lord Mayor, Omulodi Erias, please take heart, may your Father’s soul R.I.P.
