Pan African Youth leaders meet President Museveni

The leadership of the Pan African Youth Union yesterday met with His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda at the state house in Entebbe. We engaged His Excellency the President on the affairs of the Pan African Youth Union and requested political support to the work of the Union. President Museveni committed to facilitating the establishment of the eastern African secretariat in Uganda and the Office of the Vice President for East Africa currently held by Mutesi Oliver from Uganda. The president further committed to host and fully support the East Africa Regional Coordinating office of the Pan African Youth Union. President Museveni also committed to convene and fund a summit of African statutory Youth Leaders and stakeholders under the auspices of the PYU in the Republic of Uganda in 2023. The Pan African Youth Union is grateful to His Excellency the President of the Republic of Uganda for his commitment to PanAfricanism, African Integration and regional cooperation.
