Reasons why we the Bazzukulu command Jajja back on the ballot come 2026.

Economic growth and development: Under President Museveni’s leadership, Uganda has experienced sustained economic growth, with the GDP expanding to 40 billion USD. The country has witnessed buoyant economic recovery and resilience, with various sectors contributing to GDP growth.

Infrastructure development: The government has invested in improving transport and energy infrastructure, expanding the national paved road network, developing railway transport, and increasing power generation capacity. These infrastructure improvements contribute to economic development and improve the quality of life for citizens.

Increased access to services: There have been significant improvements in access to education, healthcare, and clean water. Literacy rates have improved, life expectancy has increased, and the coverage of safe water in both rural and urban areas has expanded.

Empowerment of marginalized groups: President Museveni has supported and empowered previously marginalized groups, including women, youth, people with disabilities, and workers. These groups are now better represented in parliament and government, leading to increased inclusion and participation in decision-making.

Improved security and peace: Museveni is credited with building the Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF), which has contributed to national security and stability. Civil-military relations have improved since he took power in 1986.

Advancements in technology and innovation: There have been notable developments in ICT and technology, with increased internet access, the establishment of new industries, and the local development of various applications to benefit government and the private sector.

Support for business and investments: The government has provided support and tax relief to businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and initiatives like the Uganda Development Bank and Agricultural Credit Facility have provided funding to boost business growth.

Oil and gas sector development: Agreements signed with Tanzania are expected to accelerate the production of Uganda’s first oil, creating opportunities for foreign direct investment, job creation, and growth in related industries.

Urbanization and growth triangle approach: The Growth Triangle approach aims to leverage urbanization for socio-economic transformation, with the establishment of new cities serving as centers for business, trade, healthcare, and education.

Commitment to democracy and human rights: President Museveni is acknowledged for introducing free and fair elections, promoting freedom of expression, association, worship, and a free press.

These achievements and efforts by President Museveni’s have contributed to Uganda’s development and transformation, which is why we Bazukulu still want him as president in 2026.
