Museveni’s Media Srategist in the 2020/21 Elections – Akampa Tanbull Graduates with First Class Degree

News coming in from our scribes indicate that Mr Akampa Rugaba Biretwaho aka Tanbull the former National Resistance Movement (NRM) aspirant for Mayorship Kebisoni Town Council and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa’s media strategist in the 2020/21 general elections has graduated with a first Class Degree in Democracy and Development Studies(BDDS) from Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) Nkozi. AKAMPA challenged the status quo in the previous elections by being the first youngest aspirant in entire Rukungiri if not Kigezi to contest for a position of Mayor that was dominantly dominated by those above 50 years of age. This courageous move of AKAMPA, equally inspired other youth below 35 years of age to offer themselves for different leadership positions at all levels within the region. Amidst all obstacles during the elections including one of his elder brothers Atamba Moses ( staff at Bank of Uganda) decampagning him by splashing money, salt, soap, waragi to voters that night to elections, AKAMPA, still scored highly in the elections and he is most likely to be the next Mayor for Kebisoni Town Council in the near future or even a leader to watch out for not only in Rukungiri but in Uganda at large. When we contacted him by phone call, he intimidate to us that he is happy, excited and thankful to God who has enabled him reach at this achievement especially having grown up with out parents! He says, that he never saw any of his parents, both died when he was only 6Months and that he is indeed a miracle out of miracles. He is thankful to family,relatives (brothers & Sisters), who have always supported him in one way or the other not forgetting the Late George William Karigwende and his Wife Magret Karigwende (still alive) who took care of him from 6Months until he became a boy and now a man and a leader he is. He got a life time opportunity from the Germany people who offered to support or give scholarship through the Konrad Adednauer Stiftung (KAS), he is so grateful and will forever be indebted. He says that before the year ends, he will enroll for Masters and come back to continue serving his people of Kebisoni town Council, Uganda and Africa at large to create a better world, defend human rights, fight for social justice and reduce poverty among our people. For this young turk who came to lime light more during the 2020/2021 general elections drumming for support for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa on different media platforms, rebuttals with NUP supporters, towards voting day he was at some point deployed in Buhweju as a facilitator/trainer of vote protectors/agents for President Museveni, defending and popularizing some of NRM Government programmes… we are waiting to see what kind of transition he will support.
