President Museveni to summon NRM caucus over commodity Prices

The President of Republic of Uganda, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa is equally concerned about the current high community prices especially the day to day basic commodities like soap, fuel, Sugar, bread and others.

He expressed his concern through his tweeter handle on Friday 15th April 2022 as he wish people a happy Easter break, the tweet reads as follows:
As we celebrate Easter, I know the issue of high prices for commodities, is disturbing our people. I will meet with Caucus next week and we discuss then I will address you on the matter. Happy Easter.

The Fountain of Honor seems to be very Concerned and ready to have discussions with NRM Caucus in order to get way forward.
NRM caucus is one of the organs where policy influence or proposals are given to Government and reviewed, this caucus mainly is composed of NRM members of Parliament.

Keep your fingers crossed, tanbull256.com will bring you the some of the outcomes from the NRM caucus, however we propose that tax be increased on non essential items and reduced on essential basic items especially soap, fuel…when prices on fuel are reduced, transportation of goods will be a bit lower thus other commodities like cement, paint whose prices raise every day will reduce too.

By addressing the issue of commodity prices, NRM under President Museveni strives to secure a better future of the bazukulu.
