President Museveni engages Ugandans from Acholi Sub Region on Wealth creation

President of Uganda , H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa is on wealth tours around entire Uganda, these tours started on Friday 24th February 2023.
“While meeting the leaders of Acholi sub-region, I told them my visit to all the 18 zones of Uganda is to repeat my war on wealth creation I have been fighting since 1962. They must differentiate between development (dongo lobo)& wealth (lonyo).
The NRM government has improved infrastructure like roads and other social services but, it makes no sense to be proud when the people using them are poor. Yes, a tarmac road is good and convenient but you don’t have to wait for it before you embark on wealth creation activities. So, as leaders, the message to their communities is that the medicine for poverty is wealth creation.”-NRM National Chairman, HE. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni
